Every December, the prestigious Salon 91 gallery in Cape Town, South Africa hosts a show offering accessible and affordable artwork across a broad range of mediums by some of their favourite emerging and established local creatives.
This year we supported The Bookery (www.thebookery.org.za). The gallery & artists donated 10% of all sales towards building a library & running a creative workshop with the kids at Usasazo Secondary School in Khayelitsha. Everyone was invited to donate books - specifically Xhosa & Afrikaans language, as well as Art-related books.
